Geek of the Week

Michael Martin

Bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, two outs and a full count…who do you want batting against my pitcher?  Well it doesn’t matter because Michael Martin is my pitcher and when the pressure is on (like a 250 point Pride and Prejudice paper) he is rock-n-fire bay bay!  When ESPN The Magazine interviewed Michael about his analytical supremacy, this clutch player stated, “I am considering writing a sequel titled Arrogance and Bigotry or a satire titled Modesty and Tolerance.”  Well, whatever your future writing plans are Michael, swing away man-swing away!

Geek of the Week
(An unconventionally sweet and Awesome Honor!)

Matt Dierksen

Matt Dierksen could be the next Santa Claus (a right Jolly ‘ole Elf ) if he could grow a beard.  Matt possesses the communication skills of a major CEO (like Santa’s workshop) and the work ethic of a plow pony (like a toy maker).  Although extraordinarily busy (like the week before Christmas) Matt NEVER turns an assignment in late, NEVER complains, and ALWAYS communicates his schedule (“Ho, Ho, Ho” says it all).  His eyes, they twinkled-his dimples how merry-his cheeks are like roses, his nose like a cherry-his droll little mouth is drawn up like a bow, and a boy-band face no beard to grow has garnered this cowboy the honor Geek of the Week.  Congrats Matt!

GEEK OF THE WEEK

Angie Scherbarth

Angie Scherbarth, author of To Answer Everyone’s Question, ‘Yes I Am Awesome’, took time away from her best selling book tour to write an explosive electronic post-based research paper.  When interviewed by the BBC about her project she stated, “Well, funny story…Prince William [Duke of Cambridge] and Kate wanted me to write a family history for their new baby, but I saw a different opportunity through Tumblr-and-well-here I am Geek of the Week!”  Well done Angie, well done!
        GEEK OF THE WEEK

Cooper Cogdill

Many great entities have secured the symbolic virtue of ‘Merica’s stars and stripes.  Alongside our beloved bald eagle, Cooper Cogdill’s research project (United States Government and Agricultural Control) soared straight to Washington after its September 25th release.  The paper’s innovative insight earned Cooper a spot on President Obama’s Agricultural Committee, but Cooper had to decline as he had a football game on Friday.  Congrats Cooper Cogdill, Geek of the Week!
